How to get to Seldovia. Seldovia is very accessible! You can be there in as quick as one hour from Anchorage. You have three choices, can take a scenic 4 hour drive to Homer or you can fly down to Homer or even direct to Seldovia. While the car ride is great, we know most of you want to get to Seldovia as fast as you can in order to spend as much time as possible here. Head south on Highway 1 leaving Anchorage headed for Homer. Stay right at the Seward cuttoff and enjoy the trip. If you Fly to Homer first.

Seldovia can be reached only by air or water. Well, that is unless you want to hike from Seward over the Harding Ice Fields then trudge umpteen miles of devils clubs and mosquito nurseries.
