Look Up – Life Outside the Boat

https://lifeoutsidetheboat.wordpress.com/2014/09/09/look-up

Life Outside the Boat. It was late. Well past dark. I was out picking up milk/returning a movie/whatever other errand I could run with exactly zero kids in tow after 9:00 pm. I wonder, exhausted, where did the day go? All those minutes and hours and seconds, gone. Did I see Him once? In any of those moments, in any of the activities or errands, or responsibilities – did I ever see Him? How, when my life is so full of everything that I thought would glorify Him. Yet, where is He in the midst of it? 8221; ...

So…here is a little revelation I pulled from one of last month’s entries in my journal…. 8220;And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.” John 14:13-14. 8220;Ask and it will be given to you…” Matthew 7:7. 8220;For nothing is impossible with God.” Luke 1:37. Revelati...

I have been wanting to share but couldn’t find words or thoughts or courage. I still can’t really. I want to introduce you to my friend, Kara Tippets. Ok, she isn’t really my real friend, but it’s how I think of her. I haven’t ever actually met her, but oh, how I love her. I love her grace and her faith and her nearness to Jesus. Tuesday, January 24, 2012. Is it me or do you have to reorganize every other week? I knew the first year would be allot of trial and error (hoping it will be less in future years). What I didn't know is the reorganizing how we do our day and how I keep all the stuff organized would be such a feat! This has all worked well for me, I am no longer on a quest to re-organize or make better the system which I now have, UNTIL my mom gave me a 10 drawer organizing cart! Will it fit anywhere? How will I use it?
