Homeschooling in the NKY

Homeschooling in the NKY. About Me.and the fam! Thursday, December 1, 2016. The UK Trip - The Lake District/Coniston. Before officially leaving Edinburgh, we decided to see Lauriston Castle. What can go wrong, we thought? Castles are always open, we said. Boy, were we wrong. Apparently, this castle opens in the afternoon and takes reservations. So, that was out. We took some cool pictures of us there and of the North Sea, so we were happy. Here are a few. KK and I in the gardens. Anyway, it was a small c...

Homeschooling in the NKY: August 2010

http://homeschoolinginnky.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html

Homeschooling in the NKY. About Me.and the fam! Monday, August 23, 2010. Today was Big J's "Exploration Day" in his curriculum. Once each week he has a day to go outside and enjoy God's creation. And we took a peak at her pressed leaves as well. So fun! Thursday, August 19, 2010. Gotta admit.I'm feeling stressed. The funny/sad part is I am not stressed about school. Everything on that front is going pretty well right now. I am stressed about the fun stuff! Feeling overwhelmed and anxious! Absolutely....

http://homeschoolinginnky.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html

Homeschooling in the NKY. About Me.and the fam! Monday, September 13, 2010. Where is the time going? Seriously.is it really mid-September? Anyhow - I just looked at a calendar and we are already 47 days into this beautiful journey. We've learned quite a bit already. I am amazed by these little cuties daily. Sometimes I look at what they are learning and wonder how I ever learned this stuff with 30 other kids distracting me. I'm still wondering, actually! Did she love making them? Friday, September 3, 2010.

Homeschooling in the NKY. About Me.and the fam! Thursday, April 28, 2016. A Little Bit of Tuscany - Day 3. It has taken me 3 weeks to write about 3 days in Florence. Those aren't good stats. So, here is the final post about Florence. It is going to be short and sweet with more pictures than words. Sorry! We decided we had to go to the Duomo Museum while we were in Florence. Joe wanted to all along.and I thought we already had. Oops! J Jr pretending to fall in the supports for the Duomo. Next, we headed t...

Homeschooling in the NKY. About Me.and the fam! Wednesday, March 23, 2016. I haven't been keeping up with this blog very well, and I'm a little sorry about that. Honestly, we've just been living life over here. It doesn't seem that exciting to me, but I know the grands want to read about what we've been up to these last few weeks, so here goes. I just looked back at my last post to see where I need to pick up. So, yeah, it's been a long time! Over 200 steps and I was feeling it! While in the bell tower, ...

http://tooblessed-tobestressed.blogspot.com/2011/12/allergy-friendly-advent-calendars.html

Friday, December 2, 2011. Allergy Friendly Advent Calendars. I thoroughly cleaned the mold and dried it. Then I melted Enjoy Life Chocolate chips in a plastic bag and snipped the corner and filled each section with chocolate. I stuck it in the refrigerator for about a half hour and then put it back in the outer section and taped it back together. Now my little guy will not know that his advent calendar is any different and he can participate with everyone else! I am linking to:. Lil Bundle of Joy.
