18 Years and Finished! September 1, 2014 · 10:34 pm. After 18 years of homeschooling, I am retired. My youngest daughter just started college last week and I am done. I followed all the examples, read all the articles, dotted my i’s and crossed my t’s. My oldest daughter finished college and is about to get married, my middle daughter finished college this spring and just got married, and my baby is working part time and going to college full-time. I now have to figure out where God wants me now.
