Saturday, April 26, 2014. Wrapped around her little finger. Ara spent $225 on a prom dress. $225! We went to a consignment shop and the very first dress she tried on was drop dead gorgeous with a drop dead price tag. Unfortunately none of the other dresses even stood a chance. And Ara said, "let's get it". What! If I went out by myself and dropped that kind of cash on a dress I would have caught hell for it. And then we headed to the shoe store and the man picked out a pair of sandals FOR HIMSELF. Ara an...

And I've ate chocolate all day. I saw some shoes at TJMaxx, but couldn't commit to just one pair so I walked out with 0. I wanted all four pair! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Tuesday, May 7, 2013. Monday, May 6, 2013. Job changes are in the works for me. May is so crazy. Jake swears in (US Army) tomorrow and turns 21 Wednesday. My oldest is 21! He is slotted to leave the end of May and start BCT (basic combat training) in June. I overheard he and his GF talking JOP wedding. Cole got accepted into Airborne school and after that goes on to RASP (Ranger Assessment? What parent wouldn't be proud of that. It made me cry. He's going to turn out just fine, and go far. Painted Bright White and added a storage cabinet where the dryer used to be. Cole got a phone privilege on Sunday. We weren’t expecting him to call. He said he scored highest in his company!

Thursday, August 4, 2016. Bok Choy is one of my favorite vegetables. To me it tastes like a mild celery. I use it in preparing stir fry, soups, and love the taste! Here is how I dehydrate Bok Choy. Cut it up in small pieces. Blanch it for 5-7 minutes. Then put it in the dehydrator until it is completely dry. When ready to use I soak it in water for about a hour to add moisture in then prepare it in my favorite dishes. Win a vacuum click here. Enter to win click here. Enter to win a bag click here.
