Update on July/August Story on Mary Vowell. Mary participated in the national Senior Olympics this summer after the story about her appeared in the July/August issue of Hometown. She entered six swimming events and got ribbons in each one! This is in the 80- 84 age group, as follows:. 5th, 50 Yard Breaststroke, 1:15.35;. 6th, 100 Yard Breaststroke, 2:55.48. 4th, 200 Yard Breaststroke, 6:20.38. 8th, 50 Yard Freestyle, 1:01.16. 7th, 100 Yard Freestyle, 2:24.44. 6th, 100 Yard Individual Medley, 3:17.00.
