Hubs and I have had the amazing opportunity to work with some students in the youth group at our church. For the last three months we have been on a journey to read the New Testament in its entirety in 90 days. Yep, they went there. (Not that I hadn’t just whispered this in Husbands ear as the verse I would quote). Makes us feel good, right?

I suppose not much has happened in the lives of Shields to report since I recently glanced back at our blog and realized I'd not posted since March! I have begun another year of teaching the first grade at the same school and Brad still at Luke, getting ready to pin on 1Lt (! In a little over a week which we are so excited for. Ah, life. :). We're enjoying our fall so far with football and friends!

And Saturday I will be at the halfway point of my pregnancy! Wow, time has flown by! I am so excited to find out the gender of our baby! Just knowing that simple piece of information helps me to make up my mind about sooooooo many things! Come Friday, we will find out if the majority of our family and friends were right about the gender (most voted girl).
