Just enough hope for the here and now. Laquo; And then there’s that. Been a long time…. September 3, 2010 by G. I didn’t realize it had been as long as it had since I last blogged. Life turned into a sling shot and launched me into a super busy summer. Now that school has started again for my family, things have settled down a little bit. Not much, mind you, but a little bit. Absolutely. Do I regret the choices I have made in the past year and a half? Here’s a better future – for me and my ki...You are c...

His breathing has settled down and he is able to drift softly back to sleep. Me? Which brings even more layers of fear to work through. Not only is it frightening to wake up to your child not being able to breathe, but now I have to figure out if I DO take him to the hospital, do I have to let his father know?

Just enough hope for the here and now. Archive for February, 2010. On February 24, 2010 Leave a Comment. Yesterday, I was granted my divorce by the judge and congratulated by the same! It was a hard battle but worth it. I have found that sweet taste of freedom and I am praying that I don’t waste the biggest “do-over” I have ever gotten in my life. We still have more to settle and a lifetime of co-parenting, but as of yesterday, I am a free woman! Read Full Post ». On February 21, 2010 Leave a Comment.

Musings of a Boxer Lover. Food for thought, and a challenge. Friends, can we talk for just a minute? About something many of us, myself included, don’t really think about much? First let me say that I am not innocent of these things. I don’t bring this up to condemn, but rather to encourage thinking and consideration of others in an area that I and many others like me struggle. When we boast of our children’s accomplishments, are we aware that for parents struggling with insecurity or willful child...

Nolan’s body is unable to digest protein properly and if his body takes in more than minimal quantities of protein it could be considered toxic, and cause him to have strokes.

Finding Hope in Community. Hope experienced is often hope shared! In a world where misery loves company, hope can create a kindred heart and deep community. As we grow in our understanding of what Jesus has done for us through His death and resurrection, we begin to identify with Him and find companionship with Him. We also begin to experience identity with other believers. The Bible speaks of a unity that occurs when we share the same faith in Jesus. Come Back Next Week. Sunday Services 9:00 and 10:45 AM.
