Horrabridge is a village straddling the A386 road between Tavistock and Plymouth and with the River Walkham flowing through,within the Dartmoor National Park and the Borough of West Devon. In 2006 the population was given as 2115 with 800 dwellings. Commercial outlets include a bakery, 2 public houses, fish and chip shop, hairdressers, computer shop, artist studio and a drapery. The Primary and Nursery School, of approx. 200 pupils, as one of the best reputations in the area.
