Hot Dish!: Dental Hell
http://hot-dish.blogspot.com/2009/06/dental-hell.html
Tuesday, June 30, 2009. The following is an unpaid advertisement and in no way reflects the principals of this blogger. This is a real advert that has been living on my fridge ever since it arrived in the mail a month ago. I just can't get over the fact that someone thought this would lure you in to their office. Since I have been blissfully overloaded with work, this is the most interesting item in the kitchen right now. Enjoy. OHMYGOD. I am terrified of the dentist, and now I am even more scared!

Hot Dish!: Pictures Make Posting Easy!
http://hot-dish.blogspot.com/2010/09/pictures-make-posting-easy.html
Thursday, September 16, 2010. Pictures Make Posting Easy! So, I really stink at blogging lately. Perhaps you've noticed? Echo echo. . .echo) I guess I am probably all alone here now so I will entertain myself by posting some pictures of our loft. It's completely unrelated to food but I seem to have run out of steam on that front. I like how the cheap IKEA rugs that we duct taped together resemble grass. Oh outside world, how I've missed you! I would vote hood as next major kitchen purchase!

Hot Dish!: Smokey Lentil Soup
http://hot-dish.blogspot.com/2007/10/smokey-lentil-soup.html
Tuesday, November 06, 2007. As the countdown to holiday feasting begins I am finding it difficult to keep my calorie intake at a non-binging level. That leftover Halloween candy on my desk is certainly not helping matters. (I swear that I had M&M's sitting right here, I can't POSSIBLY have eaten the entire bag, can I? Sinful. High in fiber yet full of rich smokey flavor this soup is a foul weather friend to anyone in need of comfort, not calories. 2 carrots, chopped. 2 stalks of celery, chopped. I love l...

Hot Dish!: Soup in a Hurry, Rescued by Curry.
http://hot-dish.blogspot.com/2008/01/soup-in-hurry-rescued-by-curry.html
Monday, January 14, 2008. Soup in a Hurry, Rescued by Curry. On any given night you may find a typical "He Said She Said" argument happening in the Hot Dish household. Because I make all meals that do not involve our fine friend the microwave, "she" is the clear winner of any dinner dilemma. The great question is, "Does a Bowl of Soup a Supper Make? 2 Tblsp olive oil. 1 Tblsp curry powder*. 3lbs of Carrots, peeled and chopped. 8 cups chicken broth. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Hot Dish!: It's On!
http://hot-dish.blogspot.com/2009/11/i-know-that-ive-blathered-on-and-on.html
Thursday, November 05, 2009. I know that I've blathered on and on about soups here before. Really how can I get so excited about veggies and stock? I just love that you can take a pathetic looking remains of your vegetable bin and make something so utterly desirable with them. I make at least two giant pots of soup a week around here and we eat every bit of it. Many soup recipes begin with a similar base, (onion, garlic, celery, and carrots) so why not do all of the chopping at once? A Very Mary Design.
