Quick weekend beach trip. Hannah and I spent the weekend in Seal Harbour, a tiny community in Guysborough County. We were visiting my dad and his wife, who are in the midst of planning some major renovations to their future retirement home. Hiking Thomas' Cove Trails. While we were on vacation last week, we hiked one of the Thomas' Cove trails. Near Economy. The day was overcast, but the temperature was perfect for hiking and the trees kept us mostly sheltered from the drizzle. We followed the Economy Trail, a 4 km loop along the coastline. The views from the trail were stunning and the hiking was easy. Hannah, who turns three this week, walked the entire way, with only a short break for a granola bar and water :).
