Beacon of Hope: 08/14
http://jodibeacon.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 26, 2014. Other than my own heart. I have had my share of broken hearts in my day. Haven't we all? Whether it be from a shattered romance, something one of our loved ones has done, watching someone (or a pet) suffer, moving away from a home and people you love, sending a missionary off for two very LONG years, witnessing the unfair treatment of others, or saying goodbye to a loved one for the last time while on this earth. I would have been devastated. It reminded me of a song I love by K...

The Wilson Family: Winco is Awesome!!
http://wildwilsonfam.blogspot.com/2009/10/winco-is-awesome.html
Wednesday, October 21, 2009. I went to one of the new Winco's yesterday and had a blast! We had them when we lived in ID and WA, and I've missed them ever since. They don't have ads every week (their only down side), and you have to bag your own groceries (which could be an up side if you're particular about how things are bagged), but the prices are so cheap! You have to go through the sale aisle upon entering the store, to get to the rest of the store, but those sale prices are incredible! Anyway, I've...

http://theletteroftheday.blogspot.com/2012/01/n-is-for-nixing-netflixs-stream.html
The Letter of the Day. N is for Nixing Netflix's Stream. In reply to ECP's FB post:. We went back to DVDs with Netflix for that reason. Did you know that kids can watch hours and hours and hours of Streaming Pokemon movies and insipid sitcoms that they never knew existed? Adults can loose all control of kids and selves while hours of life are drained out of them on the altar of entertainment. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Tm wstr: creative ideas/pencil. Monday, November 24, 2014. If pictures are too small, just click to enlarge - if print is too small, you need glasses! Winter has come on with a vengeance this year. And with not much warning, just BAM! It went from the 50's to the teens in a day! That makes it hard to climatize when you are an outdoor runner. I must say the photo above is a first. I've never had my pumpkins freeze solid and then thaw out all squishy and limp. And look at my poor spikes! That happened literally overnight. Sure enough, ha...

The Nashville Grigg Family
http://nashvillegriggfamily.blogspot.com/2015/07/741am-im-tired-of-trying-to-be-friends.html
Friday, July 17, 2015. 741am I'm tired of trying to be friends with people who don't respond or reciprocate. It is really hard and exhausting. 908am Feeling distressed by the conflicts and murdering going on around the world between the West and Islam. Not sure what is really happening and what is false propaganda. I do know for sure that 4 marines were killed in Chattanooga yesterday by an Arab gunman. That is so close to home and it both saddens and frightens me. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Monday, May 17, 2010. Caroline stitched this pillow and I finished it off for a best friend's birthday gift. I loved how the bright colors turned out. The rosettes are felt and I did beadwork on the stems that kinda looked like dew. Labels: gifts for girls. Tuesday, May 11, 2010. I enjoyed making these Black Apple Dolls. With the pattern provided on Martha Stewart's website. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Stuff for my house. A hoot and a holler. Simple template. Powered by Blogger.

The Wilson Family: Live Nativity
http://wildwilsonfam.blogspot.com/2009/10/live-nativity.html
Saturday, October 24, 2009. All who like to celebrate Christmas. By looking at Nativities. Our stake here in Draper puts on a LIVE Nativity every year. It. is. insane. It only lasts 4 nights, the week of Nov. 30th I think, so plan accordingly. And dress warm because it's all outside and at night, and there are long waiting lines (with bonfires to keep you warm). I can't wait! Here is an article in the Church News about it: http:/ www.ldschurchnews.com/articles/46619/Visiting-Nativity.html.
