NOT 2 SHABBY CRAFTS: November 2011
http://not2shabbycrafts.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 23, 2011. Here is a tray I made from a plaque that I bought at Hobby Lobby. I added some handles and some candle holders to the bottom to make into a tray. I added some lanterns I bought on sale at Lowes. this is a centerpiece on my dining room table. I saw this done on multiple sites. It was so easy to do. I just inserted the balls into the lights and voila! See next picture for the lights on. Thanks for stopping by! Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

NOT 2 SHABBY CRAFTS: GALLERY
http://not2shabbycrafts.blogspot.com/p/gallery.html
This was a frame that i bought from Ikea a while back. I painted it with some green suede textured paint that I had left over from our bathroom paint job! The sparkles I bought from hobby lobby. It came in a pattern but I cut it up for the frame. The pink punch out says "adorable) with some flowers on the side. Bought this frame at Goodwill and decided to spray paint it to this color and then distressed it and used some walnut stain. It is really distressed! Picked this platter up at Goodwill for 2.9...

NOT 2 SHABBY CRAFTS: terra cotta coasters
http://not2shabbycrafts.blogspot.com/2012/02/terra-cotta-coasters.html
Tuesday, February 14, 2012. Take any size terra cotta plant holder(found at Hobby lobby). I used a small size for coffee mugs. Spray paint the coaster with primer first. I used a white primer. Then I spray painted it in Rustoleum Heirloom White. Once dried. I added my paper. I used a glass as my template for cutting the paper. Once the ink was on. I sprayed the coasters with a sealer. Whalla! All done. Easy Peasy! February 14, 2012 at 1:46 PM. Linking up to www.mommybydaycrafterbynight. I Love this idea!

Tutorial: Rapunzel Hair - Bits of Everything
http://blog.bitsofeverything.com/2011/06/tutorial-rapunzel-hair.html
A few weeks ago, my daughter was in a play at school about fairy tale characters. She was Rapunzel. She wanted to look the part, so I bought her a dress and she borrowed “a long wig” from a friend. We loved the long hair we borrowed so much that we decided that we needed to make one for us. Here’s how we did it. First, I found us some “blonde” yarn. We have blonde hair at our house, but I think it would be fun to make it whatever color of hair your girls have! We found a place to hang our hair to make it...
