Sunday, December 30, 2012. No longer a caterpillar but our little butterfly. How has a year past already? We were so blessed to celebrate Elizabeth's big day with so many family and friends! The first book Kate read to Ellie was the very hungry caterpillar. I love this story and Eric Carle's pictures. Ellie has grow to love the story as well. It seemed like the perfect theme for her first birthday. I found these cutie caterpillar sticks on pintrest. Kate loved making the faces the the baby bell cheese.

Wednesday, November 27, 2013. Ellie has been known to draw and draw when you give her crayons and paper. She's even been known to draw on our new walls! Last week I decided to put her in her highchair and give her paint! She has really embraced the spirit of Thanksgiving because she was. Full of "Tank Yous! She just adored all of it! Sunday, July 28, 2013. About 10 minutes from our home is this amazing hiking trail on Green Mountain. It's not long, but it sure is pretty. Chris was up there on Friday for an engineering day event and insisted that we come back as a family on Saturday. I am so glad he did as it was gorgeous! The hike takes anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes (if you don't stop). Of course, with kids and a camera-happy mommy, we stopped frequently. So excited by the stream! I love her enthusiasm! Just a cool looking tree trunk.

Tuesday, June 11, 2013. It has been far too long since I have updated the blog with some real news! Our life has just been so buys with selling, moving, playing and traveling! Constant cleaning of the NM home just in case a potential buyer wanted to make an appearance! Howe Sweet It Is. Saturday, July 11, 2015. We spent the day at Lagoon yesterday! It could not have been a better day. The weather was perfect with an overcast sky most of the time. It did sprinkle for about 20 minuets which sent all the season pass holders home, then the lines were all really short! Wyatt was finally tall enough to ditch Mom and the little ones at the kiddie section. I don't know if I am more happy for him or sad for me. Lauren is now big enough to ride all the kiddie rides with Ryan!

Once we arrived in the city of Baalbek, we passed by the huge Blue and Gold Mosque below. Just beyond the mosque, we (joined by Johnny, Aura and Bliss) arrived at the Baalbek ruins and found ourselves practically alone and able to freely roam around. The highest peak in Lebanon (Qurnat as Sawda at 3,088m) can be seen through one of the temple openings below. The expanse of the entire complex of the Heliopolis (Temple of the Sun) including the Temples of Jupiter, Bacchus, Mercury, and Venus is incredible.
