The Race that Lies Before Us: February 2016
http://persevereinrunning.blogspot.com/2016_02_01_archive.html
The Race that Lies Before Us. Friday, February 19, 2016. I can't even call him a toddler anymore. He's a preschooler. He's so grown. Gosh where to begin? So many things have happened the past year, and I have been so bad about being consistent with blogging. So I will try my best to cover the highlights. This is also the same from his 2 year old post. This kid loves being outside. He could spend hours a park and not get tired of it. Zilla fell in love with a soccer uniform this year and he also likes any...

http://persevereinrunning.blogspot.com/2016_09_01_archive.html
The Race that Lies Before Us. Thursday, September 22, 2016. 10 and 11 Months. When he went for his 9 month check up he was 50th percentile for both. He is mostly in 12 month clothing now. I squeeze him into some of my favorite 9 month outfits still. Panini has been hitting all kind of milestones the past two months. He is also making sound associations. His favorite is to make the vroom vroom noise for a car. Panini now has 6 teeth! Nightime is getting better! Cars, for sure. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Race that Lies Before Us: December 2016
http://persevereinrunning.blogspot.com/2016_12_01_archive.html
The Race that Lies Before Us. Thursday, December 1, 2016. In true second child fashion, this poor kid didn't get a 12 month blog post. You know, the big year milestone one? Yup So today we are doing an oops guess I should round out the year post but really you are over 13 months now. It has been so long since his 12 month appointment I forgot. I think he was in the 75th for height and like the 30th for weight. He is mostly wearing 12 and 18 month clothes now. He is still our little climber! Noise as if h...

The Race that Lies Before Us: September 2015
http://persevereinrunning.blogspot.com/2015_09_01_archive.html
The Race that Lies Before Us. Monday, September 21, 2015. And 34 Week Panini Update. We are doing swim class on Wednesday nights now. I think Zilla looks ridiculously cute in his little speedo. I can't get over how proud I am when I watch Zilla climb up ladders. He is getting so strong. And this kid has no fear. He loves jumping off of things. Maybe he'll be a skydiving fireman. They have those right? We moved to a toddler bed today! And nap time #1 went great! I cook my first steak ever! Zilla "helped" ...

The Race that Lies Before Us: July 2015
http://persevereinrunning.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
The Race that Lies Before Us. Sunday, July 26, 2015. My little goofball insists on wearing his sunglasses like this. Zilla sent his cousin a sweet bday message. And then asked to watch it about 25 times that night. Back to the doctor's office for Panini and me! Everything is looking good, but I will get an ultrasound and the glucose test next time. Got a hair cut! It has been way too long. I also found a salon I like that is only 1.5 miles from our house! Day 192: 07/11. Day 197: 07/16. Lime popsicles ...

http://persevereinrunning.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
The Race that Lies Before Us. Thursday, May 28, 2015. Vrlyfry-day fail and Prego update! Well, I’m officially the worst at pic a day blog. I am so many weeks behind it’s outrageous. So here’s my story and my proposal for making it up (kind of). I put off about two weeks while I wrote the blog about maternity leave and fully intended to go back and upload pictures. Well, then I got a phone update and my data stopped working. In order to fix it I had to do a factory reset, and bye bye pictures. Zilla once ...

The Race that Lies Before Us: May 2016
http://persevereinrunning.blogspot.com/2016_05_01_archive.html
The Race that Lies Before Us. Thursday, May 26, 2016. At his 6 month checkup, Panini was 18 lbs and 4 oz and 27 inches long. This puts him in the 75th percentile for height and weight. At this point he was shorter than Zilla was, but heavier. We love our little chunker. I’ve not weighed him for 7 months. Panini can fit into 6 month onesies and pants though he is most comfortable in 6-9 month clothing. For pajamas, he is in 9 month outfits. He made his first trip to A&M's campus! He also likes being tosse...

The Race that Lies Before Us: October 2015
http://persevereinrunning.blogspot.com/2015_10_01_archive.html
The Race that Lies Before Us. Thursday, October 29, 2015. So the last time we spoke we were here:. But let me back up just a little bit, since labor was already well in progress. So remember how I was 1 cm dilated at my appointment on Thursday and I was all kinds of bummed about it? Surely not. I showed no signs of progress yesterday. By about 2:30 the contractions tapered off and eventually stopped. Excitement gone, it's not happening today. Besides, we had a busy night ahead and I needed to figure out ...
