Happy to You, DM. April 21, 2016 by euryleia. She’s made several appearances here and you know by now: she’s a force to reckon with! We call her by many names but she remains energetic, loving, kind, generous-to-a-fault, brilliant, and much more. She’s impossible to surprise but is full of wonders; she’s someone we love, cherish and hope to impress. My darling DM, happy birthday. I’m proud and privileged to be your core family! Laquo; That Girl…. July 6, 2015 by euryleia. As I wrestle with complex issues of absolute values and functions of pesky variables and exponents, I drop into a reverie. A time when exams aren’t on the agenda but reading, frisbee, a park or a beach and food definitely are! I’m dreaming of Lodhi Garden on a winter’s day, Parc Citroën in spring, hell, even Girgaum, on a pleasant evening will be awesome. On July 6, 2015 at 1:44 pm. It’s picnic season in Berlin. On July 6, 2015 at 2:03 pm. Oh, I can imagine!

Of Friendships: Old, New and Lost | Euryleia

Of Antique Markets And Many Good Things…. Of Friendships: Old, New and Lost. August 2, 2015 by euryleia. Some that I thought will last forever didn’t. Some did and surprised me. Some grew closer and then, inexplicably far apart and some I walked away from, as fast as I could. Some have evolved, and others seemed to have stayed the same. Some have become tedious and others seem to flow like the beer we drink, chilled and fresh. Some are new but feel so old, and others older, feel new. Follow me on Twitter.

Laquo; Of Friendships: Old, New and Lost. Of Antique Markets And Many Good Things…. August 6, 2015 by euryleia. It was a day when the trains came on time, the students were on their best behaviour, colleagues in a good mood followed by meeting my oldest best friend, Unca Lux. It was a day to eat a Mysore masala dosa (and half), drink coffee and chat about life, goals and the splendid idea of keeping oneself amused. It was a day well lived. A rare perfect day, I say! That Girl… | Euryleia
https://euryleia.wordpress.com/2015/07/02/that-girl
Laquo; 7:24 pm, Friday. July 2, 2015 by euryleia. Either the GRE prep has addled my brains or I’ve just had an epiphany. No one writes songs about strong, independent women. Poems are dedicated to. Nazakat, shabab, and jhuki nazar. So, I have decided to turn a leaf. To give up my independence for some. Trade the Bullet for bashful, you know, go the whole hog and be a girl someone will write poems on (and for). Now, who’s going to give this damsel a ride to work tomorrow? Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Laquo; A Blue Whale. 7:24 pm, Friday. June 26, 2015 by euryleia. It’s 7:24 and I’ve just shut every window and door hoping to keep mosquitoes out. Its dark and I have no inclination to get up from my floor bed-desk to switch a couple of lights on. The house is quiet, and I sit here, alone, bathed in eerie glow of a laptop. I wonder what I’ll be doing Friday after the next– will I be happy and celebrating or cursing my inability to do maths fast and little patience with standardised tests? The Case for Gl...

A year. | Euryleia
https://euryleia.wordpress.com/2015/07/29/a-year
July 29, 2015 by euryleia. A year is gone. When and how, I don’t quite know. The memories of this morning last year are crystal clear as if no time has passed. I remember the rain. The coldness of the hospital. Dada and Maushi standing under the foyer, utterly helpless and completely bereft. I remember phone calls and not knowing what to say. I remember phone calls with instructions and requests, specific and to the point. I remember growing up, once again. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Follow me on Twitter.

Laquo; A year. Of Friendships: Old, New and Lost. August 1, 2015 by euryleia. There is much to escape from: traffic, heat, dust and grime, the noise and unpleasantness. There is a reality we try to escape and the truth the we refuse to see. We do our best to escape criticism, work, conflict, violence of every kind. We go to great lengths to shield ourselves from what we find inconvenient, and often, unnecessary. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Address never made public). Chronicles p...
