Challenging – Technical. Probably one of the most challenging and technical events to train for, with the added needs of specific individual equipment. We are fortunate to have coaches that are able to advise and help athletes in this event, thanks to the excellent facilities provision of Wodson Park. Practical work in this event is impossible in the winter months, and this is where access to the outstanding facilities of the Picketts Lock indoor centre becomes invaluable. Strength & Conditioning.

Working with the schools. The Nicky Morris Challenge. The Inter-Schools Competition for Girls Developing Athletic Excellence in Young Women. Trophies were won by schools for winning their division, and their age group, whilst athletes were awarded a medal for winning the competition in their division.
