Blank Stare | Elimination Situation
https://eliminationsituation.wordpress.com/2013/01/20/blank-stare
It was supposed to be about my elimination diet in August, but the depths of my laziness are apparently deep. As is this tagline. Skip to primary content. January 20, 2013. I’m suddenly feeling RAGEY at the discovery that I have to spend ten days AFTER FINISHING the Whole30 working on reintroducing things slowly. I want to dive into a pool of candy, like, NOW. And yes I realize that. Perhaps that’s part of the problem. Hey that’s really Whole40 so you should prepare yourself. They don’t want you sn...

Erica's Sweet Tooth » Champagne Jello Shots
http://www.ericasweettooth.com/2012/12/champagne-jello-shots.html
December 27, 2012. With Christmas officially (and successfully, in my opinion) behind us, I’m wasting no time getting in the spirit for New Year’s. I love the idea of reflecting on the past year and getting psyched up at the opportunity for new beginnings. And plus, I’ll take any excuse to have some fun with friends after such a stressful past few weeks! There’s plenty of champagne coming our way in 2013 – graduation from dental school, getting married, and maybe even moving to another city &...Place sau...

My Tiny Cottage Kitchen and a Lot of Chickens! | Peu A Peu
https://mylifepeuapeu.wordpress.com/2012/04/25/my-tiny-cottage-kitchen-and-a-lot-of-chickens
From my little cottage. My Tiny Cottage Kitchen and a Lot of Chickens! Asymp; 3 Comments. Now when I do go grocery shopping, I like to buy organic if I can, but in all honesty it can get pretty expensive, so I try to focus on my fresh meats and my produce. I am trying to move as far away as possible from processed foods. But here is the kink in my chain……. Our youngest chick-a Black Jersey Giant. The Jersey Giants now have practically none of the fluff and are mostly feathered. I love good flavor and I l...

Things That Are Simultaneously Reassuring + Depressing: Life Is A Numbers Game -
http://www.yesandyes.org/2013/02/things-that-are-simultaneously.html
Write For Y & Y. Free feedback on your blog. My best stuff every week newsletter-only content! Things That Are Simultaneously Reassuring Depressing: Life Is A Numbers Game. You know when you’re young, you hear adults say things that strike you as terribly jaded? This is my relationship with the phrase “Life is a numbers game.”. And I huffily climbed upon my idealistic high horse (which looks like this. And shrilled “True love will find me when I’m least expecting it! And maybe it’s true! The more jobs yo...

Chocolate Zucchini Bread - The Frugal Girl
http://www.thefrugalgirl.com/2012/07/chocolate-zucchini-bread
Cheerfully living on less. July 31, 2012. I think the only thing that makes this bread instead of cake is the loaf pan shape. In pretty much every other way, it’s a cake. But since it’s called bread, you can totally eat it for breakfast. I wouldn’t recommend that on a regular basis, though. I found this recipe a few weeks ago while blog-hopping. The blog I found it on didn’t have a printable feature, so I just copied the recipe into a Word document and printed it out. Edit: Here’s the original. Now you c...

Paleo Eggplant Lasagna – BIG EATS tiny kitchen
https://bigeatstinykitchen.com/2013/01/12/paleo-eggplant-lasagna
BIG EATS tiny kitchen. January 12, 2013. I’ll tell you a little secret. The easiest way to get to my heart is to make me lasagna. Yes, it is sad, but there is an expressway right to the center of my heart via layers of ricotta cheese, meat sauce, and ribbons of lasagna noodles. I would eat it for breakfast, second breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert…second dessert. But alas, I have not had lasagna in so long. My gluten sensitivity has slammed that door shut. Oh lasagna….*s. Igh* I miss you dearly. A few ye...

Food people. comfort. joy. Guest Post: Best Teas for Promoting Health. New Recipe on Jaybird: Sweet Potato Waffles →. May 28, 2013. Sharing a meal has always been my favorite way to get to know someone. My friends tease me for using the expression “breaking bread”, but I believe there’s something powerful about experiencing the same tastes and the conversation that naturally arises over a meal. I’m excited to announce that all of this will be taking place on my new blog: Jaybird. And follow on Twitter.
