These are our only memories. Wednesday, September 16, 2009. Zach and Jon come to Phoenix. Though I have had many visitors since I first came to Arizona. I have yet to have the opportunity to actually string together the sites and experiences that Phoenix/Tempe and Arizona have to offer. The next morning, we had Matt's Big Breakfast, and then while I worked, they rode bikes around downtown. Then for lunch it was Cornish Pasty Co. (the best restaurant in Tempe) and. We decided to take the road through the ...

english in vietnam: Today is the last day.
http://englishinvietnam.blogspot.com/2008/08/today-is-last-day.html
Monday, August 4, 2008. Today is the last day. I head home tomorrow. Fly out of Saigon at 7 am bound for the states. I can't believe how awful I have been at keeping up with this thing. My apologies. I guess that just means I have to tell stories in person. I have finished my project for the Center. Hallelujah! It is now being passed around to "experts" who will give it the once over and let me know if I made any major mistakes. I really really hope not, as that goes without saying. Amanda Goes to Prague!

RYAN IN SOUTH AFRICA. Thursday, June 26, 2008. Hiking of the Mountainous and Urban Varieties. Day 3 of Blog-Fest! Sunday was rainy and grey. Breakfast was had at a local cafe, Settlers of Catan was played, and a trip to the cinema followed. All great rainy day activities. Other than somewhat dreary weather though, I'm loving every minute of being here and am already dreading the thought of leaving in 6 weeks. Other updates: I will be teaching trigonometry in a local high school next week! Ryan, good luck...

Sanford in South Africa: Mugabe 1 - Democracy 0 (Extra Time)
http://sanfordinsouthafrica.blogspot.com/2008/06/mugabe-1-democracy-0-extra-time.html
Sanford in South Africa. Saturday, June 28, 2008. Mugabe 1 - Democracy 0 (Extra Time). As the world (well, the soccer-loving portion of it) awaits the Euro Cup final between Spain and Germany, a very important contest has just concluded in Zimbabwe. In this match, Mugabe came from behind to defeat Democracy 1-0 in extra time. This is a very disappointing defeat for Democracy fans all over the world. As the match approached the 90 th. Several key players on the side of Democracy failed to contribute when ...
