Though we didn't quite make it to the lab for the hands-on work, many connections were made to other programs and structures in order to further our understanding and learning. In case you missed the session or would like to work on your own, Randy provided a tutorial. After a long br...

Monday, October 22, 2007. This past TWIT was lead by our very own Mies Martin, resident librarian. To show us different citation manager tools, Mies demonstrated the similarities and differences between Scribe and Zotero. Scribe: http:/ chnm.gmu.edu/tools.scribe/. Zotero: http:/ www.zotero.org/. Mies noted that from both of these sites, you can find all the necessary information, links, and support documentations that you need to get started. But, this isn't all bad. TWIT 2007-2008: Welcome Back!
http://hutwit0708.blogspot.com/2008/02/welcome-back.html
Wednesday, February 13, 2008. After a long break filled with candidate talks and potential hires, we are finally back. For the next four consecutive Fridays leading up to our Spring Break, join us for some Flash Instruction Sessions. Led by Randy Harrison, these sessions will begin promptly at noon in room 134 and finish up on the Mac side of the CCLI. This will provide an opportunity to do some hands-on work and really learn the materials. Hope to see you there! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
