Swenson Fam: June 2013
http://fleur-swensonfam.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 24, 2013. I thought I had better pictures of our new digs. But, it's better than nothing, right? In our first week here, we bought a lawn mower, and a pickup truck. Then we all went for rides on the lawn mower, because that's what you do in the country. :). The white shed is on the right-hand side of the house, it's where we keep our trash cans, lawn tools and various species of wasps. This picture is looking out on to our street. Saturday, April 10, 2010. What I Did On My Spring Vacation! What a wonderful time Harvey and I had in Florida! I don't know where to begin! We went primarily to watch the shuttle launch. It was amazing! Am I using enough exclamation marks? The launch was scheduled for 6:30'ish in the morning. We met new friends in the parking lot of Harry's condo at 3:15 am. Now, we are RETIRED. We often sleep in late in the morning. (Did I say late? Can you believe it? Thank you, Harry, for the vacation of a lifetime!

Sunday, March 28, 2010. Can You Read This? Posted by Laura Swenson. Tuesday, March 2, 2010. It Never Occured To Me. Just when I think I've seen everything, I run across something that changes my view of life in America. Can you believe this? Just pause a moment and consider. I know I'll be missed when I shuffle off this mortal coil, but it is not necessary. I could be artfully posed sitting in my chair in front of the tv! Or, maybe in one of the more artful poses that this thoughtful business offers.

Friday, June 5, 2009. Thoughts From the Rocking Chair. I have been overwhelmed lately with the things going on around us. It may be my age, but don't things seem to be moving too quickly? Case in point. I am thinking about buying a Kendle. I am experiencing a lot of pain in both of my arms and I think reading would be a lot easier with a lighter load to hold. But, here's the dilemma. There is already a Kendle2. Should I just bite the bullet with the new model? When will old number 3 come around? Nothing&...

Word from the Wards: Picture Tag!
http://jordanandbrandon.blogspot.com/2009/01/picture-tag.html
Friday, January 30, 2009. Julia "picture tagged" me. and I'm supposed to pick the 4th picture in my photo album and explain it, but I'm gonna cheat and just pick these of Kaelynn because I love them! After Kennedy's 1st birthday, Kaelynn wanted to ride back home with Brandon and me. We had to stop by Brandon's work before going home, so while Brandon was inside his work, Kaelynn decided to steal his hat and wear it around. she is so funny, so beautiful, and so dang smart! I love these pictures of her!

Sunday, May 31, 2009. My Sweet Little Friend. When I think of dog lovers, Carrie Nelson Scanlan's name always pops into my mind. She really knew how to treat a dog. All I can say is: Dogs are God's little gift that keeps on giving and giving. Mia, Lilly, Brother, Chester, Arthur, Newton, and all of their little cousins: Thank you! Posted by Laura Swenson.
