Book-O-Holics: July 2006

Wednesday, July 26, 2006. Shadowfires Dean Koontz (Bad). So, finally I have had enough of Dean Koontz. Every time I picked up a new book, I wanted to think it was different from the rest. But it is not. His books certainly are not the kind I’d enjoy. I find them silly, and unbelievable. So I guess that’s the last one for me. Rachel divorces her husband and whilst arguing outside the courthouse a truck kills the husband except, perhaps he is not dead! Posted by Zette Remi @ 3:11 AM 2 comments. How Opal Me...

Book-O-Holics: March 2006

Thursday, March 30, 2006. Intensity - Dean Koontz (Fast Paced). This is the first Dean Koontz book I have read. I must say I have read better thrillers before. This is the perfect book if you are in a mood for adrenalin rush . Like most other thrillers, this one too is a fast paced and hard-to-put-down book. But there’s nothing that really makes it different. Posted by Zette Remi @ 11:33 PM 1 comments. New York Times - Book Review. Amazon - Top Sellers. Hyderabad Foodies - Restautants Review.

Book-O-Holics: Gone for Good – Harlan Coben (Pulse - Pounding)
http://bookoholics.blogspot.com/2006/07/gone-for-good-harlan-coben-pulse.html
Monday, July 03, 2006. Gone for Good Harlan Coben (Pulse - Pounding). That is how I felt after every few pages of Gone for Good. Harlan Coben sure knows how to keep his audience on the edge. True to form, Coben keeps the plot twists coming fast and furious, and readers will give up trying to guess the outcome quite early on; yet the book's entertainment value lies less in its plot than its characters. Book-O-Holics: November 2005
http://bookoholics.blogspot.com/2005_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 29, 2005. In Her Shoes - Jennifer Weiner (Entertaining). I finished reading In Her Shoes. This story made me miss my older sister who I love so dearly. I could identify with the caring older sister . My sister has always been there for me and she has taken care of me ALL the time. The thing that spoilt it for me was that I kept picturing Maggie as Cameron Diaz and Rose as Toni Collette. That’s what happens when you read a book after it has been made into a movie. Book-O-Holics: Daddy’s Little Girl – Mary Higgins Clark (Disappointing)

Wednesday, July 26, 2006. Daddy’s Little Girl Mary Higgins Clark (Disappointing). She let me down! I have liked almost all the other books I’ve read of hers. They are fast paced and have a good ending. " Daddy’s Little Girl. Does not have a twist nor is it a very exciting read. It is something you’d want to read when you have nothing else to read. I’d say don’t waste your time on this one. Posted by Zette Remi @ 12:18 AM. Comments: Post a Comment. New York Times - Book Review. Amazon - Top Sellers.

Tuesday, August 01, 2006. The Hard Way Lee Child (Page-Turner). My friend finished reading The Hard Way. Even though the book is not very suspenseful, it is fast-paced and is a thriller. I would highly recommend this book to all you fiction fans out there. I am ready to read the rest of Lee Child’s novels! Posted by Zette Remi @ 2:09 AM. Comments: Post a Comment. Book-O-Holics: How Stella Got Her Groove Back – Terry McMillan (Sweet)
http://bookoholics.blogspot.com/2006/07/how-stella-got-her-groove-back-terry.html
Thursday, July 06, 2006. How Stella Got Her Groove Back Terry McMillan (Sweet). I am not sure how to react to How Stella Got Her Groove Back. Stella Payne is forty-two, divorced, a high-powered investment analyst, mother of eleven-year-old Quincy - and she does it all. She does it all well, too, if her chic house, personal trainer, BMW, and her loving son are any indication. So what if there's been no one to share her bed with lately, let alone rock her world? Sunday, February 12, 2006. Couplehood - Paul Reiser (Quirky and Amusing). I finished reading " Couplehood. This weekend. If you are at least 2-3 years into your marriage, this is a book you MUST read. My husband read this book a few months ago and recommended that I should read it too. We could relate to the book in so many ways. There are so many bits from the book that made us laugh out loud. It’s rather funny! I’ve always liked Paul Reiser (from ".
