Its A Small World! If you look at a bread crumb and you imagine something thousands of times smaller, that is the scale that NanoInk works at. They provide microscopic solutions to big scientific problems. Working with Brad and Bill for storyboard and creative direction, we recreated Assay Processing, Assay Sample Size, and NanoInk slide layout animations, showing the world of nanometers and micrometers that helps describe what NanoInk has to offer.

You may not know it, but there is an invisble thief in your house. Energizing Indiana is a program aimed to help reduce wasteful energy loss. Starting with scouting photos to create 3D previsualizations of the commercial prior to the shoot, we were able to get everyone on set on the same page so the mission was clear. From on set FX direction to animation tweaks, final lighting, render passes and composites, there was no energy lost on this production with just four weeks from start to finish.

My experience has given me exposure to a number of directors, from which if observed well, many lighting techniques can be learned. I've had time to develop numerous tricks of the trade that are useful in all stages of animating production. I worked on a series of brain shots that helped locate the parts of the brain responsible for the everyday thought process that leads to those unexpected results. And yes, I did get to work on some of the fun game stuff too.
