Welcome to I Count. It is a requirement of the Disabled Person's Act 1986 for young people who are on the Register for Chidren and Young People with Disabilities or meet the criteria for registration to be offered an assessment of needs in their final year of education.There are local criteria for this assessment. The purpose of this assessment will be to identify what services/support a young person is going to need as he/she approaches 'adulthood'. AGE 14 (Academic Year 9). AGE 15 (Academic Year 10).

Welcome to I Count. I Count" is the trademark of Register Services. The "I Count" card is distributed to those registered on all the databases managed by Register Services. Production of the plastic 'I Count' card was funded by 'Awards for All' (The National Lottery). The card can be used as proof of an individual's disability and enables easy access to available concessions and fast-tracking. The card has been enthusiastically received and feedback has been very positive.
