The personal website of Chris Derecola. Yes, I know this is public. Yes, I know you probably Googled me. I'm okay with that. Late last month, I ended about three months of eating a strict Paleo diet. I said diet.) I won’t rehash all the reasons I chose to do it, electing instead to provide a summary of my experience. Evolution of a Man. Commit to a religion. Write a Children’s Book. Decisions, Decisions…. February 22, 2013. Sigh I’ve been dodging writing this blog for a while. My last run, a few weeks ago, was a longer one. I had planned on an 18 mile run, from Ashburn, VA out past Leesburg (9 miles out and 9 miles back, along the WO&D trail). It all started well. My pace felt good, and I wasn’t very sore at all. It sure was cold though, but the running kept me warm, so I didn’t notice much. Rock n roll marathon.
