Not to worry no babies were harmed in the taking of the above photo. At least I don't think so. My friend Katherine is too nice to say anything even if she didn't approve. Wednesday, November 19, 2014. These two. . .Jameson and Fisher. It has now been snowing for a week. Yesterday we had a snow day and 10" of snow. It is not even December. Lake Michigan I love you, but can you freeze over all ready? I can't handle much more of your lake effect snow. Fisher on the other hand asks to play outside every second of every day. Tuesday, August 4, 2015. We all dream. Nick dreamt of taking the Lake Express ferry from Muskegon to Mikwaukee across Lake Michigan. Some dreams come true. The ferry was kind of like the Nantucket Ferry but upon exit you are in Milwaukee not Nantucket harbor. Serious let down. I grew up about an hour and a half from Milwaukee, but literally had never been there. Kind of shameful, so I happily took part in Nick's Lake Express fantasy. Tuesday, August 04, 2015. Friday, March 27, 2015. After a slow start Fisher is big into art these days, which pleases his mother to know end. Today while I was making lunch he asked me to come to his playroom to see a present he made me. Mama I drew a picture of you with the new baby in your tummy". Melt my heart. Tuesday, June 2, 2015. Last Day of School 2015. Fisher had a great year at school. He loves his teachers and never complains about going. He seems to have lots of friends and particularly enjoys classes like "gym" and "parties". Now if only we could get him to concentrate on his letters as much as self arranging play dates with random children. Here are his three day three class photos. Thursday, August 20, 2015. Oxbow: Art Camp 2015. At the end of July I attended two, week long workshops at Oxbow. I loved spending a week away from the kids, playing with paint and oil pastel doing what I love to do. We shared good laughs, good food and bad art work. Thanks to Jann/Horacio/Erica and Nick for taking on a week of childcare so I could enjoy this experience. Hoping I can return next summer! Maybe I will have improved?
