I am, therefore I think. So, recently I went on a computer upgrade spree. Because 4GB of RAM just wasn't enough. The two measly RAM slots were already filled. And it was DDR2, so no (cheap) 8GB modules. At first, I only wanted to change the motherboard and keep the processor (Phenom X4 955 was still reasonably fast, you know). I am, therefore I think. The great USB port mystery / Little things evade you. For months, I was wondering why my front USB ports didn't work. I made very sure that the USB header was connected to the motherboard correctly. I even tried different USB headers on the motherboard. But no, it didn't work. I gave up, thinking that the front USB ports were screwed, and contained my rage at the distributor and manufacturer of the case (Fractal Design Define Mini). I have a dumb streak. Bull; En En. Bull; Miao Yu.

I am, therefore I think. Rice, left in the fridge for one day. Too bad it was the sticky kind. I didn't want to buy a packet of basmati rice. (it's damn heavy) Well it's a bit strange that fried rice is fluffy but it's not that bad :D. Chicken ham (no sodium nitrite): stir fried in olive/canola/butter blend, first thing to go into wok, then the ric. Egg: fluffy style, in wok but separate space, then mixed when half cooked. Romaine lettuce: sauteed in butter/garlic on a separate pan. Too bad no scallions!

I am, therefore I think. Some people have too much money? I think some people are too affluent. I don't know how people can stomach meals that cost $20 and upwards. I don't know how people can visit Starbucks regularly. I mean, it's totally not worth it. Well, it's not like I don't splurge every now and then (ramen/premium ice cream, I'm looking at you.).
