Wednesday, 30 March 2011. We made a short trip to Zomba, about an hour from Blantyre, last Sunday. Zomba is the former capital of Malawi and contains some old colonial buildings in what is still an administrative district on a hill above the modern town. Rainstorm in the valley. Blantyre police raid thieves’ den.
