How are you feeling? It has recently been brought to my attention that MANY of my friends with IBD are doing very poorly health-wise right now. I’m wondering if this has anything to do with the time of year. Personally, I tend to flare when the seasons are changing; just like they are now. So my question to you is, are you currently having IBD issues that you feel may be related to the change in seasons or time of year? I want to know if this is unusual or not:. But my first ‘bout’ wound up with me in the ER waiting room for 5 hours literally screaming in pain. They finally brought me back and gave me a hefty dose of morphine…. So they admitted me and kept me on IV dilaudid for 5 days in the…. Question submitted to the blog!

Saw my GI doctor today. Managed to gain 3 lbs since my last visit and, so far, am doing okay. I need to get some routine bloodwork and a bone density (dexa) scan since I have osteopenia too.
