Yet another soulsearching travel blog. Archive June, 2012. Where did all the tourists go? I found what I was looking for in the little mountain village of Minca and more in the beautiful coastal village of Palomino. Outside of the main traveller s path they have a much more original feel to them. Minca is a small village on the mountain going up the sierra. It reminded me of coroico in Bolivia, cloudy rainforest, big trees and waterfalls! More tropical wilderness photos here. Camping under the mango tree.

Friday, May 31, 2013. One Last Thing: Final Thoughts to You. Today is May 31. Obvious right? Why are we so excited? My hope with TEDxWWU is to provide you, as a student, with Talks that really emphasize the power and strength that comes with the foundations you already have, while challenging you towards the growth and m...

Yoga Love New Zealand. Yoga, Meditation and The Journey. October 15, 2016. It has been a long time since I found and made time to write/post/blog. Today after teaching my yoga class, one of my students reminded me of my website and the books I recommended to her, which I could make available to all. This has been on my mind for a while too, hence this post. I have always loved reading! So here is my (longish) list. I have organised them into two main groups, yoga. Although some of them fit in both the gr...

What inspires this blog | plant a dream
https://plantadream.wordpress.com/about
We all have dreams, don't we? What inspires this blog. What inspires this blog. It was early this year when I came across an article in The Straits Times featuring a pair of good friends who have a dream – A dream to cycle around the world in 5 years and to inspire every individual out there to live their dreams. The pair of good friends) to trade their comfortable lifestyles and profitable business for a chance to embark on an adventure was indeed something very admirable. Every time someone shares a dr...

Mediums of narrative, I still found myself during first 10 minutes or so of Woan Wen’s In/Visibility 看 不见. Trying to associate her light changes to specific parts of the original play. On Centre 42’s The Vault. I want to applaud Centre 42 and Casey for such openness towards written work. Words, written o...

Rain comes. Frogs cheer. Daily Archives: July 31, 2015. July 31, 2015. When Was The Last Time You Listened To Melting Ice. I did that twice last week. I didn’t think I was going to hear anything. It was quiet most of the time, except for sound of people moving around. Then occasionally, a splutter sliced through the dimly lit theatre. For The Time Being. Darren created two worlds. There was a world outside the theatre. Another inside. In the world outside the theatre, lives as we knew were going on.

Silent Man, Talking Space | 岛雨蛙响 Island Observatory
https://shyhjih.wordpress.com/2015/03/12/silent-man-talking-space
Rain comes. Frogs cheer. March 12, 2015. Silent Man, Talking Space. There was a man inside a space filled with many objects. The man moved in and out of the space, making sounds with some objects along the way but not with himself. No laughters. No cries. No giggles. No sighs. No emotions. The man still remained silent. No laughters. No cries. No giggles. No sighs. No emotions. Was there used to be another person sharing the space with the man? Had this person left, leaving the man behind in the space?
