My Battle with Angry Eczema. July 2, 2014. 1)To try to reduce the redness and swelling I purchased an Aloe Vera gel from Holland and Barrett (around 8). Which claims to soothe red and irritated skin. Also, as my face burns up like a furnace when in the sun, applying the Aloe Vera gel helps to cool it down.
