Sandcastles of Our Minds | My Blog
https://poetpost.wordpress.com/2011/05/19/sandcastles-of-our-minds
Just another WordPress.com site. Thursday Poets Rally Award. Van Gogh ‘s Starring Role →. Sandcastles of Our Minds. May 19, 2011. We erected sand castles on the shore. I designed them and you painstakingly formed them. Into edifices complete with turrets, flags, and moats. We even won the contest for the most authentic. Now the only castles we build are in our imaginations. You don’t even recognize your queen anymore and I. Am sad at the ravages that alzheimers has afflicted my king. Smiles, happy rally.

The Spirit of a Child | AECHOES from the Heartland
https://aechoesfromtheheartland.wordpress.com/2014/05/16/the-spirit-of-a-child
AECHOES from the Heartland. Like the rustle of the wind in the leaves, the echos from the heart, home calls from within. The Spirit of a Child. The spirit of a child is a fragile thing. It thrives on freedom, but requires boundaries. Yearns after adventure,. But needs the nearness of a parent. The spirit of a child is a fragile thing. And sometimes I wonder why God. Should have entrusted each one. To the care of such rank amateurs. Did He not know we were barely free. Of our own childhood? Fill in your d...

I have been a fan of astronomy and science all my life and have followed the discoveries in the field of astronomy and physics with great interest. There have been great strides made in these fields due to the advent of the Hubble telescope and its newer counterparts that are even stronger and more capable of fine tuning what they see.

WHY, JESUS? | AECHOES from the Heartland

AECHOES from the Heartland. Like the rustle of the wind in the leaves, the echos from the heart, home calls from within. The Spirit of a Child →. 1 Why did you feed them, Jesus? Why did you give them bread? Did you do it to prove your Kingship. Or to show God was not dead? Why did you feed them, Jesus? Why did you give them bread? I fed them when they were hungry. Because I love them so. I fed and I feed their hunger. I’ve been hungry myself, you know. 2 Why did you heal them, Jesus? You are commenting u...

AECHOES from the Heartland. Like the rustle of the wind in the leaves, the echos from the heart, home calls from within. Newer posts →. Are you a people watcher? It’s a great hobby. I’m not talking about being a busy body who wants to know what every neighbor is doing or keeping up on the latest gossip. People watching helps pass the time in waiting rooms, airports or while sitting in the mall waiting for someone who does not keep track of time. What would she do if he did? Luckily for her or perhaps in ...

Thursday Poets Rally Awards. Exploits, adventures, and tragedies of an ordinary woman. July 13, 2011. This week someone told me that I can be a bit negative. I didn’t particularly like to hear that, but it did make me stop and think. And the more I thought, the more I realized that person was right. I think often of the fact that I was homeless and jobless, that I can’t find full-time employment now. And then I get angry. I quit believing that things would work out. I lost my faith in happy endings.

WILD HONEY | AECHOES from the Heartland
https://aechoesfromtheheartland.wordpress.com/2014/02/14/wild-honey
AECHOES from the Heartland. Like the rustle of the wind in the leaves, the echos from the heart, home calls from within. You are to me as wild honey. The thought of you fills my mind. With such sweet singing. I fear my heart will burst with the wonder of it. You are to me as a quiet stream. Flowing softly to the center of my being;. With a cool and quiet reflection. Of my deepest yearnings toward heaven. You are to me as earth. You cradle my days in the gentle strength of your arms. 2014/02/14 at 9:19 AM.

AECHOES from the Heartland. Like the rustle of the wind in the leaves, the echos from the heart, home calls from within. WILD HONEY →. There have always been creators. To us creating is a display of God’s image in the world. Creating is an ache in our spirit; a compulsive reaching out to those who share life with us. We can no more not create. Than we can not breathe. From WITH HEART DIVIDED by Donna Swanson c. View all posts by dswan2 →. This entry was posted in books. WILD HONEY →. You are commenting u...
