a different place and time: on the pacific coast
http://place-and-time.blogspot.com/2009/02/on-pacific-coast.html
To each their own adventure. Below you'll find a little about mine. Keep in touch and tell me about your life's journey, too! Sunday, February 1, 2009. On the pacific coast. On the Pacific Coast, we like to eat clam chowder. One of the famous brands for this delectable treat is Ivar's Seafood restaurant. Their chowder is thick and creamy and delicious. PS I used 'seafood' stock if you can find it. Only one of three grocers I visited carried it. Love clam that soup! I might just have to make me some :).

Gone south (and north) for the winters. After looking for a job for one year, I ended up in the place I started: Antarctica. Second summer on ice. Always summer, never warm. This is the mantra painted in the Coast Guard's. Icebreaker. While enjoying warm summers up north I've chosen a second chilly summer in McMurdo Station, Antarctica. Friday, March 14, 2008. We liked the idea of checking out Surfers Paradise and seeing some good waves, but the city was pretty expensive, and since it was our last couple days in Australia, we wanted to keep things on the cheap. Something of note recently came to my attention. Of all the fascinating people in Antarctica, Joe, who I met last year on The Ice, is back again this year as a shuttle driver. a different place and time: a gift for love
http://place-and-time.blogspot.com/2009/02/gift-for-love.html
To each their own adventure. Below you'll find a little about mine. Keep in touch and tell me about your life's journey, too! Saturday, February 14, 2009. A gift for love. The first of many changes: For Valentine's Day (and my brother, Matt's birthday), my sister, Sara, who is visiting, and I took a little trip out this morning and donated my hair to Locks of Love.
