Charlotte in London: July 2009
http://charlotteinlondon.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
An(other) ex-pat Aussie trying to make it in London. July 24, 2009. Not much this week, mostly work stuff. Wed night Ben and I went to our nice local (one of the locals) The Approach. And can I just be very English for a moment and complain that the weather here has been rubbish for the past 2 weeks. Weird sun-rain-sun-rain weather - and the rain isn't even normal London rain, it pelts down and then suddenly the sun comes out and it's 23C. So odd. And annoying. July 17, 2009. I gotta get out of the Barbi...

Charlotte in London: Hello again
http://charlotteinlondon.blogspot.com/2010/04/hello-again.html
An(other) ex-pat Aussie trying to make it in London. April 18, 2010. I'm back. Yes, things have been too exciting to bother writing my blog. Rude, I know. Ben is here now! We're into the domestic routine, I am currently waiting for my sister to Skype me while Ben cleans the house - he he! And this week I FINALLY finished the prison film. Phew! Merely 9 months working on 2 short films. My mood lifted noticeably when the last online edit day was over. Now I can move onto something else! How did that happen?

Charlotte in London: Attack of the four-legged fiend
http://charlotteinlondon.blogspot.com/2010/03/attack-of-four-legged-fiend.html
An(other) ex-pat Aussie trying to make it in London. March 30, 2010. Attack of the four-legged fiend. ONE WEEK ONE WEEK ONE WEEK. (til Ben comes, for those who hadn't figured it out). Working from home today but not feeling all that productive or into it. Been feeling a bit flat ever since I woke up this morning. Think maybe it's because I had a dream I was being attacked by an evil horse. Don't laugh. Iceandfire's a bit weird at the moment - there are some very deep divides and differences between our 2...

The Slaves of Dubai #StowawayUKTour2016. Thursday, January 28, 2016. For months, the BBC’s Ben Anderson hung out around the glittering, insane towers springing up in Dubai trying to infiltrate the community of expatriate workers who are putting them up. What he found when he finally got in was that the jewel of the Arab world is almost entirely built upon imported slave labor. Https:/ www.vice.com/video/the-slaves-of-dubai. Posted by Hannah Barker. Lots of Big Ideas: Politicians by Tim Malmo
http://lotsofbigideas.blogspot.com/2006/11/politicians-by-tim-malmo.html
Politicians by Tim Malmo. Are they always right? That's not human anyway! Or think about this. We vote them to respresent us (just like the Americains did about twice in favour of Bush). That's because we trust them, isn't? Perhaps it is time for us to start considering that by endorsing a politician, one does endorse not only his policy (oh I forgot, maybe his looks too) but his rubbish and stubborn mistakes as well. In the name of fairness. Or what do you think? Raquo; Post a Comment. Persian Students ...
