Thursday, August 26, 2010. I made a batch of homemade ginger snaps that were absolutely amazing! I mean, I'm not tooting my own horn, I just followed the recipe. Except I used whole wheat flour and replaced shortening with veg oil). Also, I bought myself some flowers and arranged this bunch for my living room. Flowers are just so happy, I love them. The plan was that Chris would drop the rest of us off at our hotel and continue to Connecticut in the car. He could get some work done and maybe visit with Shanna or Terry, and we could avoid the cost of parking in New York City. Is on 5th Avenue right around the corner. The Library lions are one of my favorite New York City landmarks.
