Davis In Haiti: September 2014
http://davisinhaiti.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 24, 2014. With the end of September coming up, we are hoping for some cooler weather. Actually it hasn't bothered me so much, but it sure has taken a toll on Don. He's not alone in that. Everyone seems to be tired of the heat and humidity. Are we ever pleased by conditions? I've had so much time to simply "think" lately. And a lot of it has been on attitude and circumstances. I was able to talk to my children often. I was able to rest and relax. And I was able to go to the st...But I...

Davis In Haiti: August 2015
http://davisinhaiti.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 29, 2015. A very late update. I have been going in circles trying to catch up on things here. I finally did get an email out, so decided to simply post it here, to save time, and prayerfully be able to stay on line long enough to get it posted. Have you ever, in daily life felt like you've been swimming up stream against a very strong current? Yup, that is where I'm at right now. But I have my hands on the Life Preserver Who can keep me afloat and going in the right direction! It seems w...

Davis In Haiti: December 2014
http://davisinhaiti.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 19, 2014. A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS. Greetings and VERY MERRY. Here in Haiti we don’t have this situation of not being able to say Merry Christmas or Christmas Blessings, but it gets me a bit upset when I see so much of the controversy in the US over a holiday that started and is centered on Jesus Christ being fought over. I mean, why don’t people get a grip and realized that CHRISTmas is what it is. A celebration of the birth of our Savior? But why try to put a stop to it? It’s pumpk...

Davis In Haiti: February 2015
http://davisinhaiti.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 28, 2015. Only a few days left. To those of you from our home town, Dale has already taken over a thousand pictures, so ask him to share a "few" with you. After lunch yesterday, Don took the guys out to the IDADEE orphanage for a visit. Vero was excited for them to see it again. Notice the kids climbing all over Dale? He had them hanging on him the whole time out there. (He's the white faced dude in the first picture! Teams will sure be pleased it is up and running again! Dale was able...

Davis In Haiti: In the midst of our time in the states
http://davisinhaiti.blogspot.com/2015/06/in-midst-of-our-time-in-states.html
Sunday, June 28, 2015. In the midst of our time in the states. When we first came out, we stayed a week in Florida. We were blessed beyond measure when we were offered a home to stay in there. The couple had gone to Hawaii for 3 months to work with a mission there. They opened their home for visiting missionaries and pastors. We had a wonderful week of relaxation and rest. Here is Donny, Faith and Faith's grandma, Debbie. That little girl is a real sweetheart and steels everyone's heart. A good friend, B...

Davis In Haiti: January 2015
http://davisinhaiti.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 6, 2015. In addition to New Year's blessings. I decided to share some photos, since I can get on the internet right now. These are special ones for us. This is Grandma Bibiana when she came to visit. Obviously Savanah loves her! The kiddo loves to go in the car, anywhere! This was her social worker. Savanah was a bit shy with her, but did warm up. And the psychologist.he had a phone so he won her heart. She was saying praise the Lord and it made him smile! Savanah got her kitchen dishes ...

Davis In Haiti: October 2014
http://davisinhaiti.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 25, 2014. The team and also Max. We have a team in. They came to help with the bucket ministry. And WOW.they did an awesome job. Their goal was to do 120 buckets. We thought maybe 2 or 3 days, but they worked themselves out of a job in ONE (yes 1) day. Okay, you may think filling 120 buckets in one day is not a big deal. BUT consider the fact that:. They had to label all the pop bottles with "l'huile" (oil),. Fill each of those 240 bottles with oil. Measure and bag into ziplock bags:.

Davis In Haiti: Bucket for Haiti
http://davisinhaiti.blogspot.com/2015/07/bucket-for-haiti.html
Sunday, July 5, 2015. I'm posting an email I just sent out, but adding some photos to go with it. Enjoy! I have had some issues with this program, and there are lots of spaces where there should not be, but praise the Lord, I CAN post! Well, we have celebrated the 4th of July with some of the family. Looking at America and the whole world for that matter, how long will real independence last? I think we are not headed into the end times slowly, but we are on a greased slide going into it. Thank you for p...
