And if I push hard enough, I may even get him to write a Christmas letter. Thursday, December 22, 2011. Who Invited the Grinch? I turn to a...

Monday, October 24, 2011. Trying to Answer: Why Does God Allow Bad Things to Happen? Part 1 of a 3 part series). Let me first say: On the scale from 1-10 of "The Most Horrible Things that Could Happen" I live at a one. Really. I haven't known a lot of horror, lucky me. I've had a few bummers to deal with. All of us do. And sometimes circumstances lead us to wonder, "Why does God Allow Bad Things to Happen? If he truly is God- all-powerful, all-knowing, omniscient Alpha and Omega- then why? We lived with ...

Saturday, December 22, 2012. Yesterday, dropping Griffin off at school was a sweet experience. It is not always so.actually, it is not. So Most of the time it is hectic and rushed with a dose of tongue lashing thrown in. We are dealing with my Griffin, after all. In that flash, I glimpsed that little person, my baby boy: He is still there. I could see him. And he is, always to be, My Griffin. December 22, 2012 at 10:23 PM. Oh, Im tearing up! December 24, 2012 at 6:28 AM. Awthat brought a tear to my eye!

Tuesday, May 31, 2011. True (Red White &) Blue. Mr Wicke and I are both big 4th of July Fans. Big. We love the holiday, and it isn't because we love the BBQ's and the fireworks (although they are nice); it's because we really love the USA. We think it is the grandest experiment in human government to ever live on the face of the earth. We believe it deserves celebration. Before July 4th. (You can get a copy at Amazon. So bring on the red, white and blue, I say! Thursday, May 26, 2011. Good luck," she cal...

http://teapartyplace.blogspot.com/2012/12/im-baaaa-aaaack.html
Thursday, December 13, 2012. This year has been bananas! And I wrote none of it. Not one word. I'd feel worse about it, but I can't. I recognize that it was all I could do to just live it, let alone set it down and make sense out of it. My husband's job search and ultimate hiring, the 6 months of single parenthood that followed, the move (oh, the move! I feel rusty and don't know where to begin. We sold our house in one day. ONE DAY! But that is a story for another day. Labels: california here we come.
