http://mobleysjungle.blogspot.com/2014/10/week-of-oct-5-11.html
Sunday, October 12, 2014. Week of Oct. 5-11. I grabbed Spencer, climbed out, and we hurried home. I did get one decent picture before the whole pond episode. Sometime I'm going to have to get pictures of the rest of the kids! Monday, Oct. 6 - Naomi and Noah had soccer games. James and Stephen worked on the shed. For FHE we memorized D&C 6:36 "Look unto me in every thought; doubt not, fear not." Then we had cinnamon rolls for treat because we didn't have them for breakfast the day before. Friday, Oct....

Mobley's Jungle: September 2013
http://mobleysjungle.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 8, 2013. The Rest of Our Time on the Oregon Coast. The next day, June 25th, was Ellen's birthday! We had great plans for the day! The low tide that morning was a super low tide which meant tide pools! I had read that the far southern end of the beach at Cape Lookout had some pretty good tide pools, so we headed in that direction. Most of the starfish were this purplish brownish color so they were pretty well camouflaged. But some were bright orange! It was a long day! But there was stil...

MANNhattan Memories: One of the Perks of Living in NYC
http://karynmann.blogspot.com/2011/05/one-of-perks-of-living-in-nyc.html
Just keeping it real in New York City. Saturday, May 7, 2011. One of the Perks of Living in NYC. In April, I was able to spend several days with one of my dearest friends from college- Eldon Kartchner. Eldon has had a rough couple years (to say the least). His beautiful wife Heather died of cancer leaving him a single father with three children. In an attempt to offer him some respite, me, Carlos, Wade, and Paul provided a few days of laughs, tears, and exposure to NYC. After the taping we went downtown ...

Mobley's Jungle: December 2013
http://mobleysjungle.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 27, 2013. We Went Camping for Christmas! This year for Christmas we wanted to do something different. Something to make Christmas a little more special with less focus on the presents and the sweet food. Somehow we found ourselves planning to go camping! Santa was even able to find our tent out in the middle of the woods. This picture is kind of blurry, but it shows our tent all lit up at night. James and Rachel making breakfast in front of the cabin. The Crumpley Family. While visiting...

Mobley's Jungle: November 2014
http://mobleysjungle.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 9, 2014. Nov 2 - 9. He came up with all kinds of things for us to like and hardly had any repeats. Phineas and Ferb was about the only thing he mentioned more than once. After dinner we played spoons again. It's been such a nice evening together as a family! Nov3rd, Naomi stayed home from school but was definitely starting to feel better. No fever! And all of that was from only one tree since James cut one of our pine trees down this summer. The other one goes next summer! Annie stayed a...

Mobley's Jungle: November 2013
http://mobleysjungle.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 10, 2013. We got to stay with Mark and Julie for a whole week and a half. While James was busy working at the testing lab the rest of us got to have lots of fun. One of the first places we visited was the Portland Rose Garden. There were so many roses and they were amazing! The kids of course followed right behind. Some of the roses were just HUGE! After walking all over the rose garden we went to the huge, amazing playground. Tons of fun! Just look at these hot faces!

Monday, October 27, 2014. Was the Primary Program! We only had three kids participating this year! It was also the day we got to celebrate my birthday. It was a busy Sunday for James, but he still managed to bake a cake and frost it with Nutella (definite favorite in our house right now! And he made fish and chips for dinner! Noah had a soccer game. For Family Home Evening we had a great lesson on what it means to be a Child of God and what great potential we have because of that. Then we had a dance...

Mobley's Jungle: January 2013
http://mobleysjungle.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 24, 2013. Stephen discovered Pat McManus and almost had the whole book finished by bedtime. And yes, he did go to school and even mutual and even managed to pack for an upcoming Scout camp out. It was so hilarious listening to Noah's little voices for the trains. And it was so nice. To hear, "Mom! After school, Anne put on some swing music and was dancing around the living room. Spencer LOVES music and started dancing along too! I love his dancing! James put the finishing touches on the...
