Her favorite song is 'Roar' by Katy Perry. She sings and dances to it ALL THE TIME! It's her go to Jam! Her favorite thing to do it color and play outside! JOEY LARA. BROOKLYN. KAYLEE and HUNTER. Well I knew the day would come, but it came way too quickly! Brooklyn is now 2! She has grown up sooo much over the last year, it makes me sad! But it's been so fun watching her grow, and learn all the things she has learned. We still have a lot to learn, but she is a joy, and such a big help to us, smart, kind, and patient! Kaylee loves her, and she is the best big sister ever! We love you Brookie, and are sooo glad you are part of our family! Out on the desert.

JOEY LARA. BROOKLYN. KAYLEE and HUNTER. We didn't make it to the lights this year until the very last weekend! We tried earlier this month with Cody and Kelsea, but we chose the WRONG NIGHT! It was the night of the Motab christmas concert, a jazz game, and everyone and their brother going to the lights! There was NO WHERE to park, we ended up walking around the capitol! It was still a good time. We went to the lights with my family after we all went to dinner at Rodizio Grill! We enjoyed our december!

JOEY LARA. BROOKLYN. KAYLEE and HUNTER. We weren't sure if we were going to get our garden in on time or not this year. It took A LOT of work! The area the garden is used to be weeds and grass. we had to clear the whole area out, build the boxes, fill it with the soil, buy the plant, plant them, and it has been worth it! It was a rush there for a bit, but the garden has really taken off! In the morning the girls and I usually go out and weed it, and at nights the girls and Joey water it! We all love it!

JOEY LARA. BROOKLYN. KAYLEE and HUNTER. This year since I was in Party mode from Kaylee's birthday, I put together a Super Bowl Party together for Joey! I made lots and lots of food! The only crappy part was that I had to work! And I guess it was crappy that the Broncos lost! But next year it's definitely happening again! JOEY LARA. BROOKLYN. KAYLEE and HUNTER. Valentines Day was on a Friday this year which was great! We actually got to spend the night together instead of me working! So it was fantastic. I made us some Chicken Parmesan Delicious! Mean while Joey sunk down to the basement and set up this sweet surprise for me and the girls! He really is the best and the girls and I are so spoiled! We put the kids to bed early and watched a movie! It's rare we get to spend time just the two of us, so it was nice!
