Saturday, September 24, 2011. From couch potato to quail flusher. Chessie, 76 pounds. What a joy it is to see Chessie go from a 90-pound blob on the floor to an energetic—if a bit arthritic—bouncy dog who's eager to chase squirrels and flush quail from the weed patch along our walk route. Monday, July 25, 2011. Summer Vacation Part 2. After the Bachan's birthday bash, we headed up to Mount Laguna Lodge in the mountains outside of San Diego for some camping and hiking. The scenery was amazing! Hiking part of the Pacific Rim Trail. Apparently this trail goes all the way up the west coast of the United States. This was a crazy view. We're 6000 ft up and can see all the way down to the desert floor below. It made me a little dizzy. They have one cool grammy! The wildflowers were beautiful....

The Wandering Gossage Duo. Friday, November 28, 2014. We started working on our room addition about a month ago. First we had to take the siding and the skirting off the park model. Then we started adding the foundation for the decking for the addition. Measuring for height and distance was a challenge, but we did a pretty good job getting things straight. We built the deck in sections. We did three sections. One at a time and yes, it was a challenge to get in and out of the house! The decking is done!
