It has been really quiet and relaxing around here. When I dropped them off there were tons of family there to see them and they were happy to see people they knew. I am glad that they are able to stay with their grandpa. I hope all goes well with them and their family! Tuesday, March 6, 2012. Hanging on by a thread here at this house.

I feel content and I am amazed at the blessings I have been given. Sometimes it is hard to remember what I went through to get to this point, but there are moments where the pain and heartache of the past surface. I remember moving on and living on my own. I was hopeful for the future but I knew deep down I didn't believe I deserved to be happy.

We finally got the call tonight (and of course my husband is working out of town) a set of brothers ages 5 and 4. C is 5 almost 6 and asks questions about everything. P is 4 and is such a sweetheart. He loves the dog, cartoons, and books. Things are going well so far, but the craziness has only just begun. Monday, February 27, 2012.

Life as a Rice. Thursday, October 31, 2013. It's hard to believe Kyson is 18 months old. Although it seems like he has been a part of our lives forever, the last 18 months have flown by! It has been SO fun watching him learn and grow. He has such a fun little personality. He likes to be independent. He is a picky eater. He is NOT a great sleeper. Life as a Rice. Tuesday, June 25, 2013. Life can get cRaZy. Happy Times and Sad Times. I haven't blogged in almost two months but wow. A lot has happened in that short time. After many many bumps in the road, we finally moved into our new home in Layton. However, we rented our condo out and had to be out by May 1. So, we stayed with some good friends for a few weeks. They have been lifesavers more than once! My AMAZING Grandparents celebrated their 73rd Wedding Anniversary! They are the most Incredible.

Life as a Rice. Saturday, November 2, 2013. We had so much fun this Halloween. This was Kyson's first year wearing a real costume and Trick or Treating. Neither Eric nor I are big fans of dressing up for Halloween so we need to work on that now that we have kids. I wasn't sure what to dress Kyson up as. I saw a really cute idea on Pinterest but I wasn't sure if it would offend some people. But I thought it was the cutest thing. So we decided we would do it depending on what we did for Halloween.
