CHARDO • A Mission: December 2011
http://richardfetzer.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
December 26, 2011. I'll Be Home for Christmas! Christmas time is now past and it's time to start looking towards the new year! Transfers are here and Elder Dale and I are staying right here in the Renton Highlands. And now I can finally say that I truly will be home next Christmas! Christmas was Good. We spent the day with the Kirkhams and with a less-active family the Gaileys. On Christmas eve we had dinner with members and went caroling before an appointment that we had with Zaria. CHARDO • A Mission: A Korean Week!
http://richardfetzer.blogspot.com/2012/07/a-korean-week.html
July 30, 2012. On Wednesday night we helped run the missionary English class. In a recently revamped class, we have invited all people that want to learn English to the same class. So it kind of forces the students to learn and converse in English instead of all speaking the same language together. It seems to be effective to find new people to teach because it brings people to us. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Elder Richard Clark Fetzer. 10675 NE 20th St. Bellevue, WA 98004. Gordon B. Hinckley.

CHARDO • A Mission: The Spirit of God
http://richardfetzer.blogspot.com/2012/08/the-spirit-of-god.html
August 6, 2012. The Spirit of God. So as I am beginning to end my mission and wind down (figuratively), I have truly been pondering the things that I have learned thus far on my mission. This has been the hardest thing that I have ever done, but it has also been the best thing in my life thus far! And I know that when I do come home, it will be the greatest springboard and foundation for the rest of my life. We taught Subeer again this week. Honestly, it was a little disappointing. My grand ideas...

September 16, 2012. Miracles: Homecoming Talk Given 9-16-2012. Brothers and Sisters, it’s good to be back. Serving a mission in Seattle, Washington was an amazing experience! For two years full-time I had the opportunity to “Invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end. (Missionary Purpose, PMG)”. Alma 36:19)” Joy! As we repent and follow God...

CHARDO • A Mission: October 2011
http://richardfetzer.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
October 31, 2011. Today is an exciting day! Super P-day is here! Seeing as we can't be out proselyting tonight, we are going to have a good day. Well, Halloween is here, which means that on November 1st, I will have 10 months left. I can't believe how fast time is flying my last half of my mission. So I guess that means I need to go out and work even harder. This is going to be a short letter, but things are going well in the Renton Highlands. Missionary work is good and as always the Church is true!

CHARDO • A Mission: March 2012
http://richardfetzer.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
March 26, 2012. Our investigators Amina and Rachel, from Kenya are still doing good. They continue to learn and to listen. And they are coming to Church! Hopefully when we go back this week, they'll have read the Book of Mormon, like we asked. When we were tracting a few weeks ago we met Clayton. He is from Mexico, but speaks English very well! We found out he had just gotten back from his work trip so really there had been no time that had gone by with him at home that he hadn't seen missionaries! Well,...

CHARDO • A Mission: June 2012
http://richardfetzer.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
June 25, 2012. We also continue to teach Lin and Amy. Lin, like Subeer, has a non-religious background, but his understanding is increasing and it seems like our lesson on Saturday about the purpose of life, repentance, and the atonement of Jesus Christ is really starting to click. He was at Church yesterday. We still aren't sure how much he understands, but he does feel the spirit when he attends. I can't believe that I am 21 years old! June 18, 2012. We continue to meet with Nathaniel and his wife Siti...

CHARDO • A Mission: November 2011
http://richardfetzer.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
November 28, 2011. People In My Path. Never in my mission have I felt more like a real missionary than I do here in the Renton Highlands. And this week was no exception. We had a great week, meeting lots of new people and truly seeing that the Lord truly does place small miracles in our place. Let's just say that tuesday was rainy, wet, and yes, quite soggy. And we were out in the middle of it. Thank Heavens for my good Eddie Bauer rain jacket, and for the nice members that let us in. November 21, 2011.
