poweryogi: Four Kings
http://poweryogi.blogspot.com/2007/07/four-kings.html
Friday, July 06, 2007. It has been my experience that, when it come to courses, choosing Professors matters more than the subject itself. This has been made more stark as I sit here and try to 'remember' what I actually learned in the two years past . and I have to say that not a great lot has actually stuck : I'm sure things will come back in context when they need to, but. Sunday, February 29, 2004. Why me, Lord? OK, so my London plans were foolish. Things didn't work out exactly as I thought they would. Work kept me from getting anything done on the essay the whole day thursday. So I spent the time on the flight outlining it. Got to my crappy hotel and - drumroll - the internet connection wouldn't work! So, I'm back in the game. But, it makes me wonder, why this stroke of luck? Posted by PowerYogi at 10:17 AM. Thursday, October 23, 2003. Carnivales in High Places. Is it just me, or does every MBA applicant go through this phase? Of late, my life seems to be framed by a 1000-word essay. I am starting to see everything as essay subject matter! I have a bunch of experiences from various phases of my life laid out in front of me, and I'm trying to piece together a story that has a central focus and meaning but also incorporates all these seemingly disparate experiences. Wow, this is serious shit! Links to this post.

Thursday, July 05, 2007. Historias del cuarto del julio. When you have things to do, a holiday is a most welcome thing. But, when you are on holiday, a holiday can be quite a pain. I mean, what do you mean that the coffee shop is closed today? At 2 in the afternoon? But, but, I just woke up? Observance of holiday shmoliday. All right, I complain too much. But, she said, she couldn't rent it to us. Why, Why. Why? Turned out the big Rush was for a marathon that's held every 4th in Seward - this one starts ...

poweryogi: Older, but Wiser?
http://poweryogi.blogspot.com/2007/01/older-but-wiser.html
Friday, January 19, 2007. Older, but Wiser? On my way back home today, I stopped by one of the campus coffee shops to get some joe. There were a couple of undergrad girls talking, and I happened to eavesdrop. Turns out one of them was talking about her own interviews. I am getting a double major in Physics and Statistics. And, the guy was, like, why? Oh my gawd (OK, that I added for effect :). What did you say? I was, like, duh, it was 'cuz of my dad.". Posted by PowerYogi at 10:39 PM. Links to this post:.

Tuesday, June 29, 2004. Last exit before New Jersey. I've been having a rough couple of weeks at work, and the possibility that I might be at LBS this fall has been a motivational force of sorts to get me thru the long nights at work. I will have to go on now without that. Posted by PowerYogi at 11:22 AM. Links to this post. Bookmark: del.icio.us. Thursday, June 24, 2004. Waitlist update - well, you have to, umm, wait!
