Thursday, 12 February 2015. Curtains.Vibrants, muted and dusty. The majic of seeing something like this! Tiny petals, of the exact same tone of red that's in the curtain fabric, scattered on the narrow footpath. I've enjoyed taking photos of these door-curtains over the years. Monday, 9 March 2015. A Journey. Submerged and pulled in different directions. I continue to explore the image or symbol of a swimmer. I'm fixed on the idea of the swimmer moving fluidly through denseness. In these studies, I've played with the idea of the swimmer being split up and pulled in different directions and also, swimming in opposite dirrections&swimming towards itself. Friday, 13 February 2015. There's something nostalgic about sand piles.and mounds of grass, rocks, logs and leaves. Like a childs miniature world of hills, dunes or mountains.
