UN PO' DI STORIA. Un po' di storia. Ma che cos’è il cidolo? Per scoprirlo dobbiamo fare un salto indietro nel tempo: la storia del Cidolo e molto lunga. Il cidolo a Perarolo fu costruito nel 1668. Era una sorta di chiusa artificiale, costruita interamente in legno, posta sopra il fiume Piave (un altro cidolo, più piccolo, era presente anche sul Boite), che fungeva da ponte, ma soprattutto da sbarramento che permetteva lo smistamento di tutti i tronchi, detti. Il b&b Il cidolo è situato nel centro storico del piccolo paese di Perarolo di Cadore, alla confluenza del torrente Boite con il fiume Piave, a 532 m. s.l.m., nelle Dolomiti patrimonio dell'umanità.
