These are the images I'll be displaying at this years Artists' Open Houses in May. I've added a bit of blurb about the each, to give a bit of context about how and why they were made. Living in Brighton since 1997, I've returned to creating after long absense. Working in Screen print and Ink drawing, I'm rediscovering the satisfaction of making images again! A big thank you to all our visitors during the festival, we hope you enjoyed visiting us as much as we enjoyed hosting. I can't believe it's all over! This weekend was quieter, but we had steady numbers and Jill once again did well, taking over from my lead - how dare she! Jill, Liz and Catherine all were here, and so Sunday night was dismantling and quaffing a bit of bubbly to toast our success. We've started Artists' Open Houses 2012! As well as our favourite artists returning, we are joined by Suzanne, who works with textiles. The Private View was a great success, with much wine and good cheer, and even a few sales! The first weekend was brisk despite the weather, and we're looking forward to a sunny second weekend. Iain Armstrong - Screen prints and Ink drawing. Working in inks, pastels and screen printing, I take inspiration for the natural world primarily, but with the odd bus thrown in!
