While we were up in Utah, we figured that we would take advantage of the fact that one of our good friends is a professional photographer! We had asked Whitney earlier if she would have any time to do a newborn.ish.photo shoot for us while we were up there, and she was nice enough to squeeze us in! On Monday, after Jack's birthday party, we drove up to Las Vegas for an Emergency Medicine conference that Andy wanted to go to. We were there until Wednesday, and then we decided to drive home a day early. Brookie flew in on Thursday for a work thing, and I got to hang out with her when she wasn't in meetings! Sunday, April 15, 2012. This is not a word that I typically.well.ever.use to describe myself, but this past week I went on a spur of the moment trip to St. George! I was at work on Monday and Linds texted me and said they were driving to St. George and when could I join them? It was so much fun being able to hang out with them for a couple of days! Monday, May 23, 2011. It is finally official! We closed on our house on May 13! Goodbye noisy neighbors up till 2 am, goodbye walking a mile from our assigned parking spot to our front door and goodbye wondering if those people under the hood of that car are do-it-yourself mechanics or wanted for grand theft auto! Linn, Evan, Tony and Rachel drove down today to visit, and we took Evan and Linn with us to sign our mountain of papers to get the keys to our new house! And here it is after the paint!
