2012 – 2015. Watch a Live Chat. I’m a Scientist – Live. I’m an Engineer. We thought, to make things a touch easier, or harder depending on how much you like to be prepared and know what you’re up against, we’d upload a couple of recordings of the live chats. It might help to give you an idea of what will be involved when you take part in them. We picked these at random, based on age groups – not ability, so they’re reasonably varied. I’m a Scientist. S Then they ASK. I'd like information for.

http://about.imascientist.org.uk/2014/big-data-season
2012 – 2015. Watch a Live Chat. I’m a Scientist – Live. I’m an Engineer. Science used to be so simple. Physics involved dropping lead weights, and swinging pendulums. Chemistry meant mixing two liquids and measuring the heat rise or change in colour. Biology was about identifying leaves and insects. But that has all changed. Automated DNA sequencing output HGP. Computers and the Big Data they generate are radically changing science. The I’m a Scientist Big Data season in 2014 will explore how compu...

In June 2011 and are now putting a great emphasis on the communication side of their scientific careers or even fully devoting to it. Had encouraged them to do more science outreach?

A blog about engineering and engagement. April 3, 2012. Where are all the engineers? I have to admit that I’m a bit of a newbie to engineering engagement. Like many of us in the engagement business I’ve come from a background of science communication, and at first I assumed that engineering engagement would be more or less the same just with a different subject area. Feedback from some of our past. Align with the business goals of the company. This could mean engagement falling under a business’ corp...
