I missed it by that much. Friday, October 4, 2013. We were going to have to get creative. So we did. I don't like the new setup. It might be the best "plan B" option, but it's still awkward, and the room feels smaller. It's still good to have something different. Change things up. I missed it by that much. Tuesday, August 23, 2016. Parenting is hard: Empty nest edition. August 23, 2016. It's been almost a week since we dropped off the "little one" at TCU to begin his freshman year. It was difficult taking the oldest to college a couple years ago, but this time, coming back home to an empty house? This is hard. Takes-my-breath-away hard. I missed it by that much. Sunday, September 14, 2014. To the back yards we've called our own, a toast. The tiny back yard of our townhouse on Country Club Lane in Denton, Texas. So excited to have this space, we dug up a small section and planted a garden! The biggest achievement of this agricultural endeavor was a 2-inch-long carrot. You bet. But gone are the days of kids playing in our yard, and it's time for a new chapter. Time to turn over a new leaf! No leaf blowers or bagging required.
