Saturday, March 18, 2006. Then the lady opened the freezer and took out my vacuum-wrapped sandwich, cut it open and stuck it into the microwave. Wow! Was my reaction, I am getting a piece of frozen/microwaved crap for six dollars. And, indeed, the result was even worse than I expected. So let's not get too pessimistic about Subway sandwiches in Budapest. Maybe it is traditional. But what happened to the traditional Hungarian sandwiches? Posted by Imre at 8:36 AM. Funny thing, I just spellchecked my previous post with Blogger's spellchecker and, beside picking out Walborg Ndzki (which is natural considering that neither she nor her name existed), it also gave suggestions for "Google." Wasn't Blogger owned by Google. How come the "Google" is not in the dictionary? Would the person who wrote the spellchecker have been locked up? And what about all the users? Saturday, May 20, 2006. Budapest police called on site for a hostel. Wow, a secret! Police secret in our building. The cops have been trying to ring someone but no one opened the front door for them and they had to ask me. I opened the door for them, knowing that there is another one inside.
